Longest and Best Looking Driver
Adams Golf Company was at the cutting edge of the fairway woods frenzy ten years ago, and under president Chip Brewer, Adams continues to flourish with its Idea hybrids and irons. The problem with Adams is the company has never had a successful driver.
There is a good chance that will all change very soon. Adams has developed its new Insight Tech a4 driver. Designed by Scott Burnett (at one time with TaylorMade and Titleist), this driver was used on the PGA TOUR last summer under the 9015D prototype nickname, and Richard S. Johnson utilized it to win the U.S. Bank Championship in July.
Burnett designed this driver through consultation with the Long Drivers of America. A 15-gram external weight on the back sole increases distance because it helps attain optimum launch conditions.
Our very own Rory Sabbatini is quoted as saying “The 9015D is the best feeling, longest and best looking driver I’ve ever hit. It gives me the perfect blend of power and control. You better get one while you can!”
The Adams Insight Tech a4 Driver comes in 8.5, 9.5 and 10.5 degree lofts and has a head volume size of 460cc.
